Should U.S. Forces Withdraw From Iraq?

This article states three different point of views from Iraqis on what they think about America being in Iraq.  There are three different thoughts of the Iraqis; one side of them think that Americans cannot fix everything that's already gone wrong in their country, and they just simply want the Americans to leave; another side wants the Americans to leave, but thinks that they need our help to be able to sustain their country and the security of it; the third side thinks that without our help, Iraq will just completely fall apart and be destroyed, so want Americans to stay as a "referee".

This poll of Iraqi citizens shows that most of the Iraqi citizens want us out of Iraqi.  With this, the majority of them want us to leave as soon as possible.  As the time period on the poll increases, there are less people that want us out after that period of time.  The majority of the people polled want the U.S. out within a year; and most of those people want us out within six months.  This shows that out of the three groups mentioned in the first article, most Iraqis would fall under the first group, then the second group, and then the third group.

This article from the Huffington Post shows 5 extremely critical reasons of why we should not ignore Iraq.  Although the 5 points it makes are very good reasons, some people may disagree with some of them.  4 out of the 5 points that this article makes have to do with the Iraqi population; only one of them have to do with Americans.  Some people think that because this war is more about Iraqis than Americans that its not worth American lives to fight.

Top Ten Reasons Why the US Should Not Invade Iraq

This article lists ten different reasons of why we should not be going into Iraq.  Number 7 of the ten in the article shows the point of why they think this war isn't worth fighting.  It states that even added on to the casualties of Americans, a lot of Iraqi citizens would be killed or injured in a war.  These are two different point of views; one from a favoring side and one from a opposing side; that have their different reasons towards being in Iraq.  It depends on weather you think risking a few American lives are worth saving a lot of Iraqi lives.

Why should we be in Iraq?

There are a lot of people who go either side on this topic; they either agree with us being in Iraq, or disagree with it.  I feel that we should be there.  Starting from the 9-11 attack, Afghanistan and Iraq have been a threat to our countries safety.  Us being there will keep safety to our country and stop anymore attacks, similar to the ones on 9-11.  Also, there are thousands of Iraqi citizens who are homeless and/or in danger for their life.  We are there helping those people, giving them help to find shelter and any other help they need.  Their own governments and armies are even ignoring this, and in some ways making it worse.  Their soldiers, in addition to trying to fight our soldiers, are trying to fight their own people too.  They hurt their own people and leave them in terrible conditions; living-wise and heath-wise.  These are just a few reasons of why i think we should be in Iraq as we are now.
